Manface showed me this and it looks great,

Game have it on pre-order for £25 which is a better price than anywhere i can find at the moment.

Have they nerfed the pc version??

Looks like this is what battlefield 2 should have been!!!

this is going to have proper pc support, i.e. dedicated servers!! I remenber reading something a little while ago where EA tried to get one up on Activision by stating they will do a proper pc version.

Was it the Bad Company series that required payment for extra weapons? Leading to the whole credit card warrior scenario?

That was a free game though, so I can understand having payments for enhancements to it!!

I think this is just a standalone game, any extras I would assume would be released as expansions.

ive just done the same. once i got the beta keys im gonna cancel the order and re-order the limited edition from GAME for cheaper.
